We seek to scientifically understand ecological impact behind elephant population decline, hence we conduct researches.

Elephants are highly intelligent and social animals and play an important role as ecosystem engineers. Elephants are of conservation concern as their numbers are in decline due to poaching for ivory and to a lesser degree, human-elephant conflict and habitat loss.

TEF intend to understand ecological impact behind these declines while monitoring their distribution, movement patterns, resource use, demography, behavior and tusklessness across their range.
